Vivo S-series Triple camera S1 launch soon in India

Recently, Vivo S1 was introduced with a price tag of IDR 35,99,000 in Indonesia (about Rs 17,800).

It is anticipated that Vivo S1 will quickly be launched in India. For the launch of the new Vivo S-series phone, an official teaser video was published. The video circulating through all the Chinese company’s social media channels tells “All fresh S series coming shortly”— without revealing any particular information. To remember, the Vivo S1 was initially started back in March in China next to the Vivo S1 Pro. Recently, a tweaked phone version joined Indonesia with two different color choices, Cosmic Green and Skyline Blue.

Vivo is setting the stage for a fresh S-series phone in India according to the teaser video. Whether the new phone will be the Vivo S1 or a fresh model specifically for the Indian market, the video does not explicitly verify.

However, given the launch in Indonesia previously this week of a worldwide Vivo S1 variant, the upcoming model could be none other than the S1. It would be the next Vivo phone after the recent Indian debut of the Z1 Pro.

Vivo S1 price (expected) in India

The Vivo S1 price is yet to be revealed in India. It’s probably comparable to what Vivo announced in Indonesia, though. The smartphone was launched for the lone 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version at IDR 35,99,000 (approximately Rs. 17,800).

VIVO will begin selling the S1 in Indonesia on July 23, although the phone is already accessible in the nation for pre-orders.

As we mentioned, the company has first launched in China a few months ago, alongside the Vivo S1 Pro, with some distinctions from its global variant.

Vivo S1’s worldwide variant runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS 9 at the top. Also sportive is the dual-SIM (Nano) phone. Also Sports a full-HD+ 6.38-inch display (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style knot. The phone has a MediaTek Helio P65 SoC octa-core under the hood, coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

The Vivo S1 has a triple back camera configuration for pictures and videos that contains a main 16-megapixel sensor with a /f1.78 lens, a secondary8-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle f/2.2 lens, and a tertiary2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The Vivo S1 comes with an onboard storage capacity of 128 GB. Its connectivity choices include Wi-Fi, USB OTG support for Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, and Micro-USB. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor. Besides, the phone packs a 4,500mAh battery and measures 159.53×75.23×8.13mm.
